the ministry. He attended Howard Payne University, which he says, "is twenty miles from the nearest known sin." For his post graduate work Dr. Storms attended Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth. He then obtained his doctorate at Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. He came to Corpus Christi in 1977 and began pastoring Travis Baptist |
Church. After a divorce Dr. Storms, through God's grace, began Covenant Baptist Church in his home with a handful of people. Billy credits the tragedies of life with God's ability to use him in greater ways in his ministry. Billy's guiding beliefs are that people are more important than principles and God's grace is our greatest asset. |

After military retirement Pastor Willis and his wife Barbara opened a business in Corpus Christi Texas which is still being operated by his daughter and son-in-law. while on a Walk to Emmaus in 1996. Christian educated at what is now called The South Texas School of Christian Studies through Pastor certification he is currently licensed and ordained by Covenant Baptist church where he is currently serving as an associate pastor. |
